What makes a team successful?

All team members working together, using their specific  skills, to combine in such  a way that the resulting performance exceeds the sum of the individual parts.

How is that achieved? Through effective leadership.

A leader who provides:

- A clear common purpose

- A sense of belonging and unity

- Good, open, and regular communication

- Trust and instils trust throughout the team

- A sense of control to the Workers, where they feel that they have a say in how things are done

- A feeling of being valued and appreciated.

Provide these, with authenticity and integrity, and your team will not want to leave. Your attrition rates, absenteeism and presenteeism levels will reduce dramatically and you will see your team performance soar, your workers will develop and grow, and they will deliver innovative improvements to the way your business operates.

If this sounds like something that you, as a leader, would benefit from, or that your teams need, try it. If you need some assistance, let me know.
